THE LATEST MOVE FROM UKRAINE WAS TO BUILD A SERIOUS DRONE ARMY BUT WHAT EFFECT WILL THIS MOVE REALLY HAVE?
There are a few answers to this very important question.
YES, it can have a real serious effect or NO, it can not have a serious effect, it really all depends on many variables.
The main thing it really depends on is what kind of drones will be produced as there are many types.
It also depends on how effective those drones are, meaning; out of every 10 that go out how many actually cause an effective strike.
The next thing to understand is that IF the drones don't have high percentage of effectiveness this will mean that the drone army program is another weapon like others and will cause drag and stalemate more then advancement.
Basically, if the drones are like what is being used now then a similar effect should be expected which is good on some levels but also means that similar gains in the frontline advancement should be expected as well and this equates to NOT MANY as is the case with what is happening now.
However, what IS happening now is that Russia can't really advance due to the drones that are being used to defend against vehicles and some infantry which is a REALLY GOOD THING but still means minimal frontline changes.
In the end since I don't know exactly what kind of drones will be used I can't really make any 'logical' conclusions but I can make a partially logical conclusion based on the drones that do exist.
And this being that there are only a few types of drones that will have a higher kill percentage than or a larger range than the fpv drones being used now. So unless those few are used then the kill ratio should be similar as to what is happening now.
THE MAIN POINT OF THIS ARTICLE
UA's new drone army may have a really good effect in the sense that it will supply UA with an easy way to defend against Russian assaults; both vehicles and infantry but it may not help in the change of the front lines too greatly.
